Police confirm they are investigating a report of an assault on a 15 year old girl on Binstead Hill in Ryde.
The assault is reported as happening just after 2pm on Tuesday (16 December).
Fortunately, the teenager was uninjured.
Her mother posted the following warning on Facebook on Wednesday,
“Yesterday afternoon around 2:10pm my 15 year old daughter was grabbed around the throat from behind near to the bus stop by St Vincent’s nursing home in Ryde. Unfortunately she was unable to get any details other than the person was strong. Please be aware!”
