Portsmouth High School is delighted to host an Education Forum on the Isle of Wight on Thursday 21st March, 2013 at 6.30 pm.
The evening will focus on delivering an education for girls in the 21st century with a special emphasis on the teaching of mathematics, science and technology. Effective teaching of these subjects, which support living in a modern world, help prepare our children to go forward with confidence to make informed decisions for their own futures.
Presentations on teaching mathematics, science and technology
The Education Forum will be held at Quay Arts, Newport, Isle of Wight commencing at 6.30pm for drinks and refreshments. There will be presentations on teaching mathematics, science and technology. The sessions will be led by Paul Marshallsay, Deputy Head at Portsmouth High Junior School; Christine Williams, Head of Physics; and Assistant Head Graeme field who is Head of Design Technology at Portsmouth High School.
After the presentations, there will be a chance to meet informally with staff and the Headmistress, Mrs Jane Prescott, to ask any questions you may have.
