Ofsted have released their latest monitoring report for Haylands Primary School after it was found to have serious weaknessess and rated Inadequate in July 2014.

The latest inspection report revealed that since the previous inspection, five teachers have left and four new teachers have joined the school.

Ambitious drive

Her drive to improve the school was described by the Ofsted inspector as ‘ambitious’.

Teachers becoming more effective
The inspector went on to add that, “teachers are becoming more effective. Most lessons have a clear, relevant learning objective and there is evidence that some teachers are trying to challenge more able pupils”.

Of course, there are areas where more improvement is required, full details in the report.
