Pure Green Energy Ltd, based in Ryde on the Isle of Wight, has ceased trading as of 5pm today (Thursday) after 16 years.
Customers were informed by email that Pure Green Energy – which specialised in the supply and installation of renewable energy solutions – had been advised by an insolvency practitioner to cease trading as of today (11th July 2024).
“We will be unable to complete your installation”
One customer was told,
“The entire team has been made redundant, and we will be unable to complete your installation.
“Our insolvency practitioner is aware of all outstanding works and will be in contact with you regarding the next steps.”
“Adverse market conditions”
The company also posted a statement on their Facebook page earlier today. It read:
Pure Green Energy would like to thank their wonderful customers for their support over the last 16 years.
We have installed over 2,000 renewable projects, varying from large biomass systems to small domestic solar photovoltaic panels throughout the Isle of Wight and the M4 corridor.
Unfortunately, adverse market conditions mean that we have had to make the difficult decision to close the business and will cease trading as of today, Thursday, 11th July at 5pm.
We wish all our clients well and thank you for your past custom.
