If you were one of those who’d bought tickets (on the Island) to see UB40 play the Ventnor Winter Gardens earlier this week and missed out, fear not.
You can now put the unfortunate experience behind you and let Groovemasters come to the rescue.
Bongo Matt, well-known for the four very popular events he’s already held at the Winter Gardens, is bringing yet another party night to the town this Saturday night.
This time he’ll be dishing up two arenas of the best music from the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
Free entry for those turned away
Having heard what happened, Matt has a very generous offer up his sleeve for UB40 ticket holders who missed out on a good night out on Tuesday.
Matt says,
“As a gesture of goodwill, we’re going to offer free entry to our event to all those who bought a UB40 ticket from the Ventnor Winter Gardens (excluding online) and couldn’t get in.
“All you need to do is bring your UB40 ticket, and you will be refunded at the same time by the venue. May I stress, we are not affiliated with the UB40 concert, and this is purely an act of goodwill.”
Where and when
So if you’re unhappy about not getting the night out this week you’d planned, gather your friends together and head to the Winter Gardens on Saturday 23rd May.
Doors open at 8pm and you can carry on partying until 2am.
Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door (or free if you have a UB40 ticket purchased on the Island – not online)
Buy your tickets now from the Winter Gardens or onlone via the Groovemasters Website
Don’t forget to take your Island-bought UB40 ticket, get free entry and pick up your UB40 refund at the same time.
