The Portfolio Preparation Course
The Portfolio Preparation Course empowers students to refine their artistic abilities, build an impressive body of work, and deepen their understanding of critical thinking and theory.
For this exhibition, course tutors were invited to showcase recent works that reflect the course’s content, offering visitors a chance to see how their artistic practice might influence future students.
Mid-exhibition event
To celebrate the success of PORTFOLIO, Quay Arts will hold a Mid-Exhibition Event on Saturday 2nd November from 2pm to 4pm in the West Gallery.
This event will give visitors an opportunity to meet the artists and view their work up close.
Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available, and the Quay Arts Café bar will be open for additional purchases.
An opportunity to see Isle of Wight artists
Ian Whitmore, Visual Arts Manager at Quay Arts, expressed his excitement about the exhibition, saying,
“PORTFOLIO presents work by many of the course tutors displaying handmade works traversing a huge range of media, providing an opportunity to see work by some of the best Isle of Wight-based artists in a single location.”
Where and when
The exhibition runs until Saturday 23rd November in the West Gallery at Quay Arts, with free entry for all visitors.
