Our thoughts go out to friends and family of inspirational Islander, Asa Singleton, who sadly passed away on this day last year.
As many of you will know, Asa was diagnosed as a baby with a rare condition called Neurofibromatosis Type 2. Despite the massive effect it had on his life, Asa rarely let this debilitating condition get him down.
His bravery and positive approach to life kept many of his family and friends going when his condition hit the tough times and his memory will live on through the happy memories and inspiration he left behind.
Shine on Asa, you remain in ours and many others’ thoughts.
