Walk, run or dance your way through the Island’s happiest 3K – Rainbow Run returns!
It’s chaotic, it’s colourful and it’s back! Rainbow Run – Bubble Fun 2022 will take place on Sunday, July 10th – at the new location of Northwood’s IW County Showground.
Now in its fourth year, the 3km family fun run is Wessex Cancer Trust’s biggest annual fundraiser and features a fun-filled course of giant inflatables, colour stations and bubbles.
Early bird tickets
Tickets for this year’s event go on sale today (Monday, 28th March) and, for a limited time, early bookers can enjoy ten per cent off registration fees with the code rainbow10.
For the first time, this year’s 3km course will take the shape of an actual rainbow.
White: Experiencing an ever-increasing demand for our services
The charity’s Regional Fundraising Manager, Lorraine White, said,
“Rainbow Run has become a firm favourite in the Island’s summer events calendar and the winning combination of giant inflatables, rainbow paint, bubbles and sunshine always create the most amazing atmosphere.
“We’re super excited that the route will this year form the shape of a rainbow, so make sure you’ve got your trackers at the ready!
“Since it started, Rainbow Run has raised more than £100,000 for Island families living with cancer and, this year, we need all your support more than ever.
“Missed diagnoses and delays in cancer treatment due to Covid mean we are experiencing an ever-increasing demand for our services and your support means we can continue to be there for more and more Islanders when they need us most.”
This year’s Rainbow Run is sponsored by ARID Design and Management Consultants and will also include entertainment, food vans and a licensed bar.
All participants will receive a medal for taking part and those who raise more than £50 in sponsorship by June 10th will become star fundraisers, receiving a special Rainbow Run Tshirt to wear on the day.
There are also a limited number of VIP packages available. Sign up today via the Website.
