This week is National Customer Service Week and we hear from HQ at Red Funnel that seven of their Directors will be trying their hands at roles that will take them away from the boardroom.
On the cards for the Directors are cleaning, engine room duties, stores, ticket offices, and traffic marshalling. They will also cover shifts as able seamen, cabin attendants, pontoon attendants and catering assistants.
In addition, the senior management team will be providing an opportunity for Red Funnel customers, on board at at terminals, to ask questions and give feedback on the service. We expect that some of the staff will also take the opportunity whilst working alongside the Directors to share their views too.
