Red Funnel, the Isle of Wight specialist, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin George as its new Chief Executive.
Starting on 2 January 2014, Kevin brings a wealth of experience from the travel and tourism sector and has a strong strategic background.
Background in transport
Kevin joins Red Funnel from Monarch Airlines where he was the Managing Director, having previously held senior roles in operations and customer services. Over the past two years Kevin has overseen the strategic restructuring and growth of Monarch as a leading leisure airline.
Prior to joining Monarch, Kevin held a range of senior management positions in British Airways, and was instrumental in many key product and service developments, including the customer experience at Heathrow Terminal 5.
A keen sailor, Kevin is a qualified yachtmaster and is very familiar with both the Solent and the Isle of Wight.
