At the end of May a new festival is taking place on the Island.
For the first time this year, The Isle of Wight Community Renaissance Festival comes to Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde.
The day promises a step back in time to celebrate the oncoming summer in “Ye Olde Style”.
There’ll be dance, theatre, music, food in the medieval market with buskers and jugglers to provide entertainment as you stroll through ‘the village’.
Pitch Opportunity for Islanders
If you have art or craft wares that you’d like to sell at the festival, organisers are looking for people to take pitches.
As the whole event is to raise much needed cash for four Island charities, they’re asking for a donation to be made to the cause for pitches rather than charge a set price.
