Ventnor were defeated in their weekend fixtures with Southampton University.
On Saturday, the visitors totalled 253-4 from their 40 overs and dismissed Ventnor for 124, while on Sunday at Newclose the students also won convincingly.
Chasing a target of 190, only Ben Duggan (26), George Niemiec (33) and Mark Holmes (24 not out) made starts as the Islanders were bowled out for 126.
Fixtures
On Sunday (26th April), New Milton are the visitors to Steephill to take on Ventnor’s first team in the first round of the Royal London Club Championship at 1pm.
Tourists Oxted & Limpsfield provide the opposition at Steephill for two T20 contests on Saturday from midday.
On Sunday the two clubs play at Newclose in a second team fixture.
