Coming up at the end of the month in Ryde is a band who we’re really looking forward to seeing.
We happened across their Web site a few years ago so were really pleased to hear from the band last week.
They’ve been together for four years and include musicians from former Island bands The Pumphouse Gang, The Waltons, Cats Like Plain Crisps and The Bebop Dustbins.
If their Website is anything to go by, this should be an interesting and entertaining night.
We understand that the band will be performing their song “Ventnor gets me Giddy”, about the joys of being young in a seaside resort – one member lived most of his early life in Ventnor.
It all takes place at The Simeon Arms in Ryde. Won’t cost you a penny to get in and kicks off at 8.00pm.
