Red Jet 4 with jet skier alongside about to crash into it

Revised Red Jet timetable extended a few more days

A return to the normal Red Jet timetable is in sight, but there are a few more days of the reduced timetable in the meantime.

Leanna Lakes, Operations Director at Red Funnel, explains,

“Red Jet 4 has been temporarily removed from service after high pressure alarms were activated on the starboard engine.

“A delivery of specialist parts has been received and repairs are ongoing. To provide certainty for passengers making travel arrangements, we will be extending our reduced timetable this week on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th February. We apologise for any difficulties this may cause to customer journeys and would like to thank them for their patience during this time.

“We will resume our normal timetable from Thursday 10th February.

“We encourage customers to plan ahead by checking the live departures on our website. Customers may also consider using our vehicle ferries as an alternative option, which are currently running to timetable.”
