On a bright and fairly cold Sunday morning, Rew Valley were playing Sandown and Lake at Ventnor Middle. With a three week break, how would the Valley play today?
The game started with an instant goal by Sandown and Lake who also scored on the third and ninth minute. In the fifteenth minute, Sandown and Lake scored a fourth, followed five minutes later by another goal.
Ventnor pushed forwards
Callum Steele nearly scored a goal for the Valley but unfortunately he was offside but decided to run on and score anyway. Half time approached with the score 0-5.
The second half started with a sight of belief from the Valley playing with such spirit and confidence.
Travis Steptoe and Declan Morgan-Philips strengthened the defence with a superb effort by both players throughout the match. The thirty-seventh minute brought Sandown another goal as well as the next two goals that followed. The final whistle blew with the final score 0-8.
Well what can I say, 0-8. Hopefully the next game will be better.
