News reaches us that in May this year Rob Da Bank, the man behind the excellent Bestival will be publishing a new book.
It’s not all about spinning the discs for Rob, back in the day he was a music journo, so certainly knows a thing or two about putting pen to paper.
Apparently the book, A-Z of Festivals: My Life in 26 Letters, will be a music memoir, celebrating music, festivals and how they bring people together.
We understand that Rob will look at festivals as far afield as Iceland and true to form, as an Island ambassador, there’ll also be mentions of festivals on the Isle of Wight too!
Great to hear that Rob’s wife Josie will be responsible for the illustrations in the book. She’s got a great distinctive style that is friendly and welcoming, so is sure to match Rob’s musings.
Editorial director Ingrid Connell said:
“We are hugely excited to be publishing this really lovely book by Rob, a key and respected expert in his field (please excuse the pun!). It’s going to be a beautiful package and great fun to promote to all those thousands and thousands of festival-goers the world over.”
