If you weren’t able to get to the coast on Saturday to watch the 1,100 boats taking part in the annual Round the Island Race, worry not.
Margaret Smith from Twilight Wight Photography shares these great shots from several locations around the Isle of Wight of the boats passing by. Organisers of the event also share a video recap of highlights below.
Taking part in the race along with the 1,100 boats were five from the race charity, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust. It also saw daughter of the Wight, Dame Ellen MacArthur, racing alongside young people supported by her cancer charity.
