If you’re heading to Cowes, please make sure you check out the annual Row for Life event.
As we mentioned back in July, a group of 10 amateur rowers will attempt to set a new British record by rowing a non-stop 1 million metres, (621 miles) to raise awareness and funds for the Africa Children’s Development Trust (ACDT).
Based at Cowes Yacht Haven, the ‘Row for Life’ team started their challenge at 12.00 midnight last night (Sunday 7th August) and the team aim to have broken the record 64 hours later by 6pm on Wednesday 10th August.
Do pop in and show your support if you’re there or donate online if you can’t make it along.
