Quay Arts is extremely proud to present the annual Royal Watercolour Society Group Autumn Exhibition.
This display of its members’ most recent works represents some of the finest watercolour painting in Britain, and demonstrates an exciting evolution of the medium.
At 200 years old the RWS is the oldest watercolour society in the world and boasts a distinguished roll call of current members such as Leslie Worth and Ken Howard.
Its home is at the Bankside Gallery, London, and its Diploma Collection is held in the British Museum. This exhibition has been curated by its Vice President and Isle of Wight artist, David Firmstone MBE.
This is a rare chance to view the work of a society which aims to encourage innovation in, and raise the profile of, this quintessentially British medium. All works will be for sale.
