Isle of Wight singer, Ruby, will perform at the iconic HMV record store in Southampton at 6pm this Friday, 16th February 2024.
Performing acoustic versions of her original songs, Ruby’s performance will be broadcast live on Outreach Radio.
Debut single with personal connection
Ruby, an 18 year old Platform One based singer-songwriter, released her debut single in December in memory of her late grandfather, who wrote the track 50 years prior.

Several live appearances
Ruby has also performed at the Isle of Wight Festival, Warrior Festival and the Isle of Wight Story Festival.
On Friday, HMV Southampton – which is one of over 100 HMV stores in the UK – will host Ruby and her band amongst hundreds of records, CDs and DVDs.
“It’s my first mainland gig”
Speaking ahead of her appearance at the iconic shop, Ruby said:
“It’s an honour to be able to perform at HMV.
“It’s my first mainland gig and it’ll be amazing!”
