This year Ryde Arts Festival, starting on Friday (29th June) and running until Saturday 7th July, sees week of unique events, including Soundscape: an adventure of music and sculpture at St Thomas Heritage Centre (more to follow tomorrow).
Lollypop People: An exhibition of contemporary artists’ works dealing with the theme of childhood at the Depozitory in Nelson Street.
An Inventor in Iberia: See the amazing hand-made wooden tricycle which made the trip across the Solent to Santander and by road and river raft to Bilbao at the Depozitory.
Friendshop across the World: Ryde Social Heritage Group Exhibition with the unveiling of the Friendship Quilt made in conjunction with Ryde, Australia at Ryde Library.
Family and Creative Writing Workshops available all week.
Our final day sees a Godspell production with Trinity Theatre at the Methodist Hall and Ryde Arts Festival closing party with Headfunk at the Blacksheep Bar.
