Ryde Harriers latest event in the winter series was a five mile nominated run which saw Cherry Shannon home in first place in a time of 37.56, four seconds inside her nomination, followed by Brian Warren 12 seconds inside his nominated time in 41.48 and in third place was Karen Collett 26 seconds inside her nominated time in 43.04.
Fastest man on the night was Graham Maitland in 35.15 and fastest lady was Julie King in a time of 36.35.
Hampshire Cross Country League
Meanwhile on Saturday nine Harriers travelled to Basingstoke of run the Hampshire Cross Country League at Popham Airfield.
First home for the Harriers was Tom Blackwell in 39.49, Les Cupis followed close behind Tom in a time of 39.51, Pete Young, 40.21, Paul Charlton-Smith 46.03, Andrew Keehn in 47.14 and Ken Beak 51.27.
The ladies race saw Sarah Kavanagh home first for the Harriers in 24.44, Mary Norman in 26.47 and Emily Wildon in 27.30.
