The 6.5 mile run took in a reverse of recent 10k course towards Tesco and finished with the tough climb up Pennyfeathers. Andy was only one second outside of his nominated time of 47:47 with Kevin Hillier in second only two seconds out. Third place points went to club chairman Andy Leal.
Fastest runners on the night were a quartet who crossed the line together consisting of Simon Newman, Tom Blackwell, Simon McMorran and new member Justin Fitzgerald.
Netley 10k
On a very warm Sunday morning five Harriers made the short trip across the water for the Netley 10k road race.
The men managed a full team of four with Pete Still first home in 44:43 followed by Brian Warren in 50:29, Steve Lee in 55:06 and John Randles in 57:01.
Lone female Harrier, Mandy Womack, finished in an excellent time of 46:33.
