Detectives investigating the death of a man in Ryde have been granted more time to question two men and a woman who are currently in police custody.
A murder investigation was launched on Sunday 28th May after police were called at 3.17am to an incident in Park Road, Ryde.
Man died en-route to hospital
Officers and paramedics attended, but a 30-year-old man was pronounced dead while en-route to hospital.
His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
An investigation into the exact circumstances is underway.
From our enquiries so far, we believe this was an isolated incident.
Three arrested
A 27-year-old man from Sandown, 27-year-old man from Ryde and 24-year-old woman from Shanklin have each been arrested on suspicion of murder.
They remain in custody today following a warrant of further detention being granted by the court. This allows the investigation team up to a further 32 hours to continue their enquiries whilst the suspects remain detained.
