Platform One Students will be hosting a multi-venue live music event in Ryde on Wednesday 4th May.
The event is spread over four locations, each organised by four separate groups, but all raising money for the Bestival Foundation (what’s this?).
Where and when
The venues taking part are The King Lud, Bottega, Coburgs and The Blacksheep Bar.
There’ll be variety of music at each venue, ranging from an Alternative/Rock night at The King Lud and Coburgs, to an acoustic night at Bottega and math rock/psychedelia at The Blacksheep.
Each event starts at 7.30pm on 4th May and are free enter.
What’s the Bestival Foundation?
The Bestival Foundation was founded to help social, environmental and charitable projects on the Isle of Wight.
It runs a free youth group – Rob da Bank’s Music Club for kids aged 13 to 18 and is held at the Quay Arts Centre each month, offering them a variety of workshops to join in with.
