Young people across the country will be receiving their GCSE results today. Thanks to Ryde School for sharing their news with VB readers this morning. Best of luck to all the pupils from other Isle of Wight schools. Ed
I am delighted to announce another excellent set of GCSE results at Ryde School.
Pupils’ and staff’s hard work has been rewarded with 44% of entries all being at A* or A grades. 71% of all entries were at B or above. 91% of pupils at Ryde School achieved at least 5 A* to C grades including Mathematics and English.

These results are an impressive achievement for pupils who follow a tough academic curriculum including Mathematics, English Literature and Language, Modern Languages, Science (many pupils taking Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Humanities.
