Great news from Ra at Ryde School. Ed
Four Ryde School students have been named as Hampshire Winners of the EDT (Engineering Development Trust) ‘Contribution to Business’ award.
Working with Island-based company Innovative Physics, a specialist nuclear radiation detection company, the students designed a hand-held, multi-directional gamma radiation detector.
They presented their project at an assessment day at CEMAST, Lee-on-Solent, and they graduate as ‘Industrial Cadets’ and will receive gold CREST awards.
