Susan Scoccia is hosting the Safer Neighbourhoods Ventnor Beat Surgery this coming Saturday from 10am til noon at the Ventnor Community Projects Cafe in Albert Street.
Here you can have a chance to meet with the Safer Neighbourhoods Team and raise any issues that might be concerning you with regard to the town.
Up until now these surgeries have been held at Ventnor Library, which for some is out of the way, so by holding the surgery in the centre of town it should be more accessible to everyone.
Ventnor residents have been openly criticised for the poor turnout at the recent Safer Neighbourhoods Partnership meeting, but as has been pointed out by Blog reader Mist T Eyes, it wasn’t particularly well advertised. I don’t remember seeing anything about it, and would’ve definitely attended.
The open surgery on Saturday is a great opportunity for you to raise any concerns and have your say.
