A new Website to gather support against the closure of nine of the eleven libraries across the Island has been set-up.
Although in its infancy, Save The Libraries on the Isle of Wight aims to become a hub for all information about meetings, discussions and action that can be taken to help save libraries across the Island from closure.
It’s very easy to get involved, simply fill out the contact form and someone will be in touch.
Meeting today
A meeting has been called for 1.30pm today in Ventnor to discuss what can be done to save the libraries.
It’s being held at the Community Cafe, 1 Albert Street.
