The Isle of Wight Junior Ice Hockey Club has announced two new sponsorship deals, which will enable them to go forward into the future with a more stable outlook.
The two sponsorships are said to have taken effect immediately and so as a result; all four junior teams will be taking on a more distinguished name, now known as The Isle of Wight Junior Raiders.
Thanks to the two new sponsors – The Care Learning Centre and John Rowell Estate Management, the injected cash will enable them to maintain a foreseeable stable future.
“Commitment is second to none”
As a result of this, the new team will be receiving an all new look, with redesigned shirts and a boost in confidence and performance alike.
With the connection of the junior and senior team becoming ever more close in the last few years, there’s a bright outlook for the near future. With interest in the sport become more popular than ever before due to the Raiders title challenge this season, they’ll not only receive a lot of support from their sponsors, but from their fans too.
Jeremy Cornish – Senior and Junior coach is delighted with the news and has this to say, “Over the last two years the junior programme has vastly improved and we’re looking forward to increasing our affiliation with them in the future. We are very fortunate with the coaches we have and their commitment is second to none. The Raiders are really excited about the name change and we hope to have Junior Raiders making the step up to the senior team in the future.”
You can come see the Isle of Wight Junior Raiders flaunting their new shirts at the Raiders game with Swindon on 12th March.
