A last minute reminder for parents of children attending Gatten & Lake Primary School, Newchurch Primary School, Broadlea Primary School and Niton Primary School that there is a public consultation meeting tonight at Sandown High School (6.30pm in the South Hall).
The purpose of the meeting is to update parents on the proposals for the future of Island schools and there will be an opportunity for parents to ask the officers questions.
As we mentioned on Tuesday – we were only given two days notice of this very important meeting and have not seen it publicised anyway else.
With this being one of the most important issues to hit the Wight over recent years, we’re a little surprised that parents have been given so little notice of this meeting.
Especially as there are only two weeks left to get your comments in to the Schools Project Manager, Alex Moffatt.
