The avant-garde glam circus stars The Shanklin Freak Show had a weekend to remember, what a busy week they have had.
Thursday they entertained the IOW festival campers.
Saturday they took a bus to Camden’s Purple Turtle.
By all accounts, they went down a storm with the crowd begging for more, with more positive reviews then you could shake a juggler at.
Sunday, they made it back at the IOW festival to chill-out. Wednesday they went down a storm to win the battle to play at the Bestival. With Rob-Da-Bank, quoting “interesting and slightly weird”.
Then Sunday they played an open-air gig at the Ventnor Park to wind-down their hectic week. Somebody from above is looking down and smiling at them.
A TIP FOR ALL
If you go to the Bestival, cos of the atmosphere, the colour, the fun and the different genre’s, then make SFS a must-go-see act. There probably will be more jugglers, flame-throwing, stilt-walkers and lots more circus style acts performing with them, then ever before. Oh keep a look out for their gig about October time (maybe an EP launch party).
