The Isle of Wight has been the victim of several storms over the last couple of weeks, causing extensive flooding, massive damage to the train line< ?a>, countless fallen trees, damage to properties and more.
OnTheWight reader Georgina Watson got in touch on Wednesday with photos of the damage caused to the Shanklin Slipway. As you’ll see from the gallery below, the damage is extensive with the concrete slipway pushed up from underneath. The loss of sand on the beach revels pipes leading out to the kiosk, which now stands tall on it’s plinth.
