Share Your Christmas Displays with VentnorTV

‘Tis the season (as they say) and as we travelled around the Island at the weekend, the number of houses sporting large displays of Christmas lights seemed as many as in previous years.

House, Lights, Camera, ActionWe were surprised to see so many, not only because of these lean economic times, but also when we’re supposed to be considering our electricity use more carefully.

That aside, there are lots of people who enjoy the displays and VentnorTV tell us that they hope to share the joy with Islanders by capturing the dazzling hard work that goes into lighting up the streets on the Wight.

They’re calling all Islanders who have a decorated house, shed, garden or even rabbit hutch to get in touch.

All you need to do is send them a photograph or a short video of the display of it in its full glory, and they’ve made it very easy to do so.

If you pop over to their Website, you’ll see that they’ve created a very easy way to upload your files, or if you’d prefer you can simply email them to christmaslights(at)ventnortv.com.

Handy tips for video entries
1.Take a 30 second shot of the whole house
2. Take 10 second shots of individual features.
3. Take a group picture of your family
4. We can only use proper videos sent via the web NOT phones.
