The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service have been called to reports of a shed fire in Ryde.
Two pumps are in attendance at a property on the corner of Seldone Ave and Marina Avenue.
What started as a shed fire has now spread to property. Fire crews are doing all they can to make sure the fire does not spread to the nearby school.
Explosion
OnTheWight has received two reports from people having witnessed explosions and the fire service have confirmed cylinders are involved, but were unable to say what they contained.
It’s understood that all persons are accounted for. Two more pumps are on their way to assist.
