Readers will no doubt know of Ventnor cricketer Danny Briggs who plays for Hampshire and has been chosen for the 30-man squad for the England games this summer, as well as for the ICC champions trophy.
Danny and his wife, Linsey, are ‘puppy parents’ for the wonderful Isle of Wight charity, Ability Dogs 4 Young People.
Linsey says that Danny and herself are keen to help raise as much money as they can for the charity so are putting a framed print, signed by the entire ODI England team, including Kevin Pietersen, up for auction.
Auction open until Sunday evening
She says, “It is a very special photo of Danny’s début and you cannot buy this in any memorabilia shops, as they are only made for players by the ECB specifically to mark special occasions.”
The bids are currently up to £185 and will be open until the evening of Sunday 14th April.
