Sightings of Smurfs are being reported to Hovertravel’s staff in their Southsea Terminal. Commuters, day-trippers and even pilots have claimed to have seen blue-skinned, white trouser wearing creatures collecting for charity.
Loretta Lale, marketing manager for Hovertravel, explains, “We have transported many animals from pigeons to penguins but never have we had any sighting of Smurfs. Obviously we are big supporters of Blue Day and as this invasion is helping us to collect more money for this worthwhile cause, we are more than happy to welcome them to our team.”
