The Isle of Wight has finally made it onto SnapChat (what’s this?) with its own filter.
Snapchat tempts users to stay loyal and keep using the App by constantly updating the filters it offers. We’ve noticed in the last week that you can now use an Isle of Wight filter after grabbing images to send to friends.
How to get it
If you have the messaging app downloaded onto your smart phone and have Location Services set to On, Snapchat is able to determine where you are geographically.
Simply take a pic and then keep swiping right to see the Isle of Wight filter.
Send us your best shot!
There are so many amazing photos to be taken on the Island, we thought it’d be fun to see the Snaps you take with the IW filter.
Just add ‘onthewight‘, send over your best shots and we’ll screenshot them for a gallery.
Good for tourism
This could be a great tourism tool with Snapchat users on holiday on the Isle of Wight sharing Island branded messages with their friends.
Hurrah!
What’s Snapchat?
Snapchat is a mobile messaging app that is used to share photos, videos, text and drawings.
It’s mostly used by the youth to communicate with each other, increasingly more so than via Text, Facebook or other social media channels.
