Surprise, surprise, more weather news.
If you’ve seen our people’s weather of the Island you’ll know that the weather conditions across the Isle of Wight are varied.
Now for the official prediction by the Met Office, which is valid until 6pm tonight.
A band of sleet and snow will spread northeastwards through Monday morning. Accumulations of 5 to 10 cm are expected in many places with locally 15 cm over high ground. Snow is likely to turn to rain near English Channel coasts this afternoon.
The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.
