Whilst we were all tucked up in bed, the snow fell last night. In some areas more than others.
No surprise that it’s causing some problems this morning out on the roads.
Roads
St Johns Rd in Ryde currently closed due to weather.
Hill Rd and St Johns Rd in Ryde both now open.
All other roads passable with care. Gritters have been out overnight and out are currently out again treating priority roads.
Libraries
All libraries are open this morning as normal.
Brighstone library will open at its normal time this afternoon.
Ryde library will close for a period over lunch due to limited staff levels.
