Ventnor Town Mayor, Brian Lucas will be presenting Sophie Blake Bevan with a Certificate of Commendation from the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) for the rescue she led in the sea last September, when two young boys who were having trouble on the rocks by the Spyglass.
The presentation will take place at 2.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday), outside Blakes Beach Office on the Esplanade.
As you all know, Sophie works extremely hard on the beach through the season, always looking out for everyone who uses the beach. So why not go along and show your support and appreciation? The more the merrier.
