Route 1
First journey – Monday to Saturday – from Newport bus station at 05:10 will now depart five minutes earlier. The return journey from Cowes Co-op at 05:21 will now depart at 05:16.
Early and late journeys on Sunday which do not connect with a Red Jet ferry will terminate at Cowes Co-op.
Following public consultation earlier this year, there will be significant changes to Route 1 from March 2015. Please look out for further information.
Routes 2/3
The 15 minute frequency along the Ryde to Shanklin corridor will start at 07:17 instead of 09:07. This is the result of two additional Route 2 departures from Newport at 06:25 and 06:50. There is also a Route 3 departure from Newport at 05:50 – and an additional Route 2 departure at 18:30 from Ryde.
Times at Lake, Godshill, Merstone and Blackwater have been adjusted, Route 2 from Sandown – Monday to Saturday – at 06:53, 07:23 and 07:53 will depart two minutes later.
Route 3 from Ryde at 05:35 will depart at 05:30, with earlier times to Ventnor. Early and late journeys that do not connect with Island Line will not serve Shanklin railway station.
The 08:07 Route 3 – Sunday from Ventnor to Newport – will start from Sandown at 07:44. The Route 3 from Newport at 17:05 and 18:05 – and from Ryde at 18:15 – will have additional time, with journeys extended between five and 10 minutes.
Route 3 from Newport on Sunday – at 22:25 and 23:35 – will have additional time. The 23:40 service from Ryde will depart at 23:50, also on Sundays only.
The 20:10, 20:40 and 21:15 Route 3 journeys from Ryde will depart five minutes later to connect with the hovercraft.
Route 5
The 22:40 service from East Cowes to Newport has minor timing changes. The 22:55 from Newport will depart five minutes later at 23:00 – and the return at 23:10 from East Cowes will depart at 23:15.
Route 7
There are minor timing changes to early and evening buses – and the 20:30, 21:00 and 21:30 departures from Newport will depart five minutes earlier at 20:25, 20:55 and 21:25.
The 21:15, 21:45 and 22:15 departures from Totland will also depart five minutes earlier at 21:10, 21:40 and 22:10.
Route 8
The 16:40 departure from Newport – Mondays to Saturdays – will arrive five minutes later in Ryde at 18:19.
The 17:20 departure from Ryde will now depart at 17:30.
Route 9
The 05:15 departure from Newport – Monday to Saturday – will depart five minutes earlier at 05:10. The 07:05 departure from Newport – Monday to Saturday – is withdrawn and replaced with departures at 07:00 and 07:10.
There are slight amendments to the times at Binstead, Wootton, Staplers and Fairlee – early morning and later evening journeys – every day.
Route 23
The first Route 23 departure from Newport will commence at Newchurch, returning direct to Newport – with major retiming of subsequent journeys.
Passengers from Knighton, Newchurch & Alverstone travelling on this first journey will need to go via Sandown in order to reach Newport.
Route 24
The Saturday service will be withdrawn after 18 October.
Route 32
All journeys will be re-routed from the Horseshoe Inn via Four Cross and Three Gates Road to rejoin the existing route at Somerton mini-roundabout.
The 11:30 journey from Cowes will operate via Gurnard and Hillis Corner and not via Cockleton Lane.
Route 37
The 18:05 departure from Ryde will leave at 18:25.
There are no changes to routes 4, 6, 12, 22, 33, 34, 35, 38 or 39.
