Only a few days left to buy your tickets for the Spring Blues at the Ventnor Winter Gardens.
Amen Promotions have managed to secure great bluesman Papa George to play a gig this coming Saturday night.
Up on stage first will be Damien Paul who will open the evening with some fine acoustic blues, ably assisted by Stuart Woodley on Double Bass.
Island band, The Amen Boogie Blues Band will be up next, and Papa George will have on stage support from the supremely talented sidemen Pete Stoud (Peter Green Splinter Group / Roger Chapman) on bass and Tom Compton (Johnny Winter) on drums, this three piece is as solid and vibrant as you can get, from hard driving R&B to laid back foot stompin’ delta blues.
All in all sounds like a fantastic night for blues fans and well worth the ticket price of £12 in advance (or £14 on the door).
