A public meeting to discuss the proposed Bio-Mass plant at Stag Lane has been organised for later this month.
Taking place at the Riverside Centre on Wednesday 26th October at 7pm, the meeting will be a chance for members of the public to share their views. Ian Alander from Biofuelwatch will also be giving a talk.
Biofuelwatch works to raise awareness of the negative impacts of industrial biofuels and bioenergy on biodiversity, human rights, food sovereignty and climate change and Ian will be talking at the meeting about the global and local issues linked to Biomass.
All are welcome to the meeting which takes place in the Hunnyhill Room at Riverside Centre, Newport Quay.
