Readers may remember we highlighted details of a new series of carpentry course for unemployed Islanders back in November.
Nick Miller of Storeroom2010 has been in touch to let us know more.
He says,
“Thanks to financial help from a variety of funding sources, Storeroom commenced the first of several carpentry courses on Tuesday 28 January and 16 unemployed people are being given the opportunity to work towards a NOCN Level 1 Qualification in Carpentry & Joinery.
“There is a fully equipped training room specifically for the purpose at the Storeroom premises.”
Good luck to all those taking part and well done all at Storeroom!
