If you’re into surfing, whether you take part or enjoy spectating, make sure you head to West Wight this evening.
You won’t be needing your wetsuit or board, because this is an opportunity to enjoy surfers captured on celluloid.
The excellent Wight Surf History project will be hosting an evening of surf films.
Taking place at the Sandpipers Hotel, Freshwater tonight at 7.30pm, the evening will feature new and old surf footage, including the Isle of Wight Surf Club movie made in the very early 1970s by Anne Macpherson.
If you have any surf movies of your own, take them along to the mobile cinema to be shown tonight.
Most formats will be catered for: Standard 8 and Super 8 Sound, VHS (full size and mini), Full and Mini DV tape and DVD disks!
