Twenty seven year old Paul Dodd (or Doddy to his mates) has an occupation that might put him in good stead for Swim To Bestival. He’s a Gymnastics Coach.
Add to that the fact that he’s part of the crazy bonkers Hularama crew and apparently ‘six times Olympic Gold Medalist swimming champion’ the three miles across the Solent should be a doddle for him (excuse the pun)
Yes, young Doddy took his first gold in Los Angeles back in ’84 at the tender age of just five years old. Following this he has been voted World Swimmers Swimmer of the year 22 years consecutively.
He says … “All seems insignificant when provided the opportunity to SWIM TO BESTIVAL for charity! It’s got YES written all over it. Most recent achievement: Pool Frog level 1.”
