There is still time to apply for a grant from the Isle of Wight Foundation.
Each year the foundation, made up of the partners behind Island Roads, issue grants of between £3,000 and £16,000 to charities and not for profit/community organisations working to tackle social exclusion.
More than £740,000 donated
Since 2014, the foundation – comprising Island Roads, Meridiam, Vinci Concessions and Island Roads Services – has donated over £740,000 to such projects.
Those wishing to apply for grants this year have until noon on 9th May to do so.
Gillespie: We welcome applications from community groups
IW Foundation chairman Rob Gillespie said,
“In the last nine years we have been proud to work with a wide range of organisations who are supporting people to play an active part in their communities and assisting them in accessing employment and housing.
“But we know this work is ongoing and we would welcome applications from community groups for grant funding this year.”
