The Isle of Wight has become the Isle of White overnight, not with snow, but ice.
Island Roads’ gritters were out last night preparing the roads for the predicted frost, but there have still been many road traffic incidents (RTIs) this morning.
Police are attending incidents on Smallbrook Lane in Ryde and Bleak Down (Niton).
RTIs have also been reported on:
- Knighton Shute
- Calbourne Road
- Cockleton Lane, Gurnard
- Military Road, Compton
