Islanders will remember that tragic loss of life when Luke Cowan was found dead last year.
The 19 year old from Newport will be remembered later this month at a football tournament being held in his memory.
The tournament takes place on 14th August from 10.30am onwards.
All are invited to take part and entry is just £2 per team member or £10 per team plus any donation you are willing to give.
Please get in touch with James Cowan (through Facebook) if you plan to take part, so he’ll have an idea of how many teams are playing.
We understand that they’re be a bouncy boxing ring and bar-b-q on the day.
The winning team will be awarded the Luke Cowan Cup.
All donations will go towards the costs on the day.
